This July birthstone ring sets a lab-grown ruby, the July stone, in a 9mm by 7.2mm halo of cubic zirconia for vintage-inspired sparkle.
The slim solid 14K gold band is stamped 14K / 585 and weighs about 1.40 g. Wear it alone, stack it, or give it as a promise ring. For a daintier setting, see our ruby halo ring.

Semi-hollow 14K gold
The dome is a thick gold wall around a small hollow core, so a full, rounded ring stays comfortable to wear all day.
Hollow 14K gold
A thin gold shell around an empty core: the lightest way to make a wide band, but it can dent or flatten under everyday knocks, and a dent is hard to repair.
We make two kinds only: solid and semi-hollow, never hollow. Both are real 14K gold, stamped 585.

Care
Showering in it is fine. Take it off before swimming in a pool or the sea and before workouts, and keep it away from perfume, lotion and household chemicals. Shipping is free and insured on every order. Orders usually ship within 1–3 business days with tracking; delivery time depends on where you are and the shipping option you choose at checkout.
US orders ship from Illinois, with no customs or import fees. Everywhere else, orders travel by DHL Express and ship DDP (Delivered Duty Paid): duties and import taxes are on us, so there's nothing to pay on delivery.
Each piece is packed in the Heon box with its certificate of authenticity.
You have 30 days from delivery to return or exchange a piece, for any reason, and return shipping is free. Once it reaches us, your refund is issued within 5 business days. Custom-engraved and personalized pieces can’t be returned.

Is it solid gold?
Yes. This piece is solid 14K gold: 58.5% pure gold and the same all the way through. It is stamped 585, never plated or filled, and ships with a certificate of authenticity.
Will it tarnish or change color?
It won't flake or wear through, because there's no plating. Lotion, perfume and skin oils can dull the surface over time; warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft cloth bring the shine back.
Can I wear it in the shower?
Yes, showering in it is fine. Take it off before swimming in a pool or the sea: chlorine and salt water can dull the polish and loosen stone settings over time.
Why 14K and not 18K or 24K?
24K is pure gold and too soft for everyday wear. 14K keeps the rich color of gold and adds the strength to wear it every day.
